PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter that includes a distal assembly having multi-spines, each having a proximal end and a free distal end attached to the catheter.SOLUTION: Spines 14 have different lengths, and therefore, distal ends of the spines draw different peripheral diameters along an inner tissue surface of an annular region for minimizing a risk of the venous stenosis. The length of each spine may be configured that the distal end draws a spiral pattern. A distal assembly 18 may include a plunger that, when moving longitudinally with respect to the distal assembly, deflects the spines. The catheter 10 may include a second distal assembly at a distal end of a first distal assembly, and the first distal assembly and the second distal assembly are located at a prescribed distance apart or separated by an adjustable distance.
