PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a content page image itself and to display it in optimal size by accessing an article on the page image with simple operation, in browsing content with a portable terminal.SOLUTION: The content browsing device includes: acquisition request means for making an acquisition request for content to browse to a server; receiving means for receiving content transmitted by the server; acquisition means for acquiring an index stored strung to the received content; article display means for displaying an article of the received content; index display means for displaying the index acquired; selection receiving means for receiving selection of the index displayed; and scroll means for scrolling a picture of an article stored strung to the selected index by using position information on the article of the content stored strung to the index whose selection has been received.
