PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic member of an electrophotographic device, which suppresses generation of banding in an image caused by uneven charging.SOLUTION: The electrophotographic member includes a conductive substrate and a surface layer, in which the surface layer comprises a binder resin and an aggregate of at least one kind of crystal grains selected from the group consisting of flaky crystal grains of magnesium carbonate and flaky crystal grains of calcium carbonate. On the surface of the aggregate, an end surface of a card house structure formed by the crystal grains is exposed. The surface of the surface layer has projections derived from the aggregate, and the surface of the projections has a rugged pattern that reflects the shapes of the end surface of the card house structure exposed on the surface of the aggregate. |
