<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reduce a FPOT while suppressing disturbance of an image.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes first and second developing members 24a and 24b, and moves the first developing member 24a and then the second developing member 24b from retreat positions to developing positions before starting of image formation to attach toner to a first photoreceptor 1a and then to a second photoreceptor 1b. A time period required for the first developing member 24a to move from the retreat position to the developing position is shorter than a time period required for the second developing member 24b to move from the retreat position to the developing position.</p> |
