<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation and recovery device which is provided in a paper sheet carrying device which pushes and moves sheets of paper from rearward by a carrying auxiliary body moving while receiving an air flow inside a carrier pipe to carry the sheets of paper, for separating and recovering the sheets of paper and the carrying auxiliary body.SOLUTION: A separation part 80 passes only sheets of paper (bills 6) downstream, and makes a carrying auxiliary body 16 abut and stop. A carrying belt 94 is disposed in a downstream passage of the separation part 80, and air inside the passage is sucked from a suction port 99 at the back of the carrying belt. Exactly when the carrying auxiliary body 16 reaches a holding part 81, a tip of the bill 6 reaches the suction port 99, and the bill 6 is stuck on the carrying belt 94 by suction of air from the suction port 99, and is thereafter carried by the carrying belt 94 and recovered.</p> |
