PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading device that can read a thin document or drawing without requiring a large space, and can accurately read the document without decomposing and cutting the document.SOLUTION: The image reading device of the present invention includes: a main tabular column; one or a plurality of transparent plates whose one end is rotatably connected to the top of the main column; and imaging means for picking up an image via the transparent plates. The image reading device also includes position adjusting means for adjusting the position of the imaging means in accordance with the tilt angle of the transparent plates, and can minimize the distortion occurring in a double page at a binding part of the document. |
