PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeder and an image formation apparatus capable of solving problems such as folding of a sheet tip end and generation of rush noise caused by a sheet transport path curved at acute angle between a feed roller and transport rollers with a simple, low cost, and small configuration.SOLUTION: A sheet feeder SF includes: a feed roller 6 that feeds a sheet P on a sheet loading portion in a sheet feed direction X; and a pair of transport rollers 8 transporting the fed sheet P in a sheet transport direction Y nearly orthogonal to the sheet feed direction X. The sheet feeder SF also includes: a guide member 101 movable between a guide position at which the guide member 101 guides the sheet P fed in the sheet feed direction X toward the pair of transport rollers 8 and a separate position separate from the sheet feed roller 6; and a cam member 105 that moves the guide member 101 at the separate position to the guide position when a tip end of the sheet P fed by the feed roller 6 passes through the guide member 101. |
