Provided is a vehicle device that can suitably hold saved data even if there is an instantaneous interruption in the battery voltage supplied from a vehicle-mounted power source. The vehicle device (1) classifies, in accordance with importance, all the data processed by a main microcomputer (2) and a sub-microcomputer (3) having different characteristics, and varies the saving destination and saving frequency in accordance with the classification. Data or the like indicating the current position of the vehicle, for example, is considered to be the most important data, and the most important data is constantly saved to the saving destination of embedded RAM (18) embedded in the sub-microcomputer (3), whereas data or the like indicating a home position, for example, is considered to be important data, and the important data is saved every time a set time elapses to the saving destination of externally attached memory (17) attached externally to the sub-microcomputer (3) and the main microcomputer (2). |
