PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular steering control device and a vehicular steering control method which can appropriately suppress vibration of a steering wheel while a driver applies torque to the steering wheel.SOLUTION: In a vehicular steering control device, a control computing unit 11 turns a turning wheel 2 based on a steering state of a steering wheel 1 mechanically separated from the turning wheel 2, and applies a steering reaction force to the steering wheel 1 based on a turning state of the turning wheel 2. At this time, when stationary vibration of the steering wheel 1 is detected while a driver applies torque to the steering wheel 1, the steering reaction force applied to the steering wheel 1 is decreased. When determining that the steering wheel 1 steadily vibrates based on a steering angle δ, an occurrence of the stationary vibration of the steering wheel 1 is determined. |
