PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent packet communication transmitted via a roundabout path.SOLUTION: A transfer device 30a transmits and receives a frame to and from a transfer device 30b of a LAN 11b having a gateway 20b. The transfer device 30a also determines, on the basis of a packet transmission source address or destination address in the frame transmitted and received to and from the transfer device 30b, whether or not the transmitted and/or received packet is a packet pertaining to packet communication between servers 40a, 40b and a terminal device 2. Then, when the packet is determined to be a packet pertaining to packet communication between the servers 40a, 40b and the terminal device 2, the transfer device 30a notifies the terminal device 2 of switching of the gateway. |
