BATTERY CELL BALANCING CIRCUIT USING LC SERIAL RESONANCE

The present invention relates to a technology for controlling the charging and discharging of the multiple battery cells entirely or individually by means of LC serial resonance in a multi-cell battery module so as to improve the lifetime of the battery cells. To this end, a battery cell balancing circuit comprises: a battery module consisting of multiple battery cells serially connected; a serial resonance circuit consisting of an inductor connected serially to a capacitor for performing the serial resonance function; and first to third switch parts arranged between the battery module and the serial resonance circuit for establishing the paths for recovering and supplying the electric energy.
