The valve (2) has an electromagnet (7) including two sub coils (8, 9) i.e. wire windings, which are provided on a coil body (7a). Bipolar transistors (17, 18) are adjusted into a switching position or another switching position by switching signals. The sub coils are connected in parallel by the bipolar transistors in the former switching position, and in series in the latter switching position. An intermediate diode is connected between the sub coils. The diode is blocked in the former switching position by parallel connection of the sub coils.
