<p>The invention relates to a knife gate valve comprising a body (1) equipped with: an upper part including a planar slit (2) for the passage of a knife gate (4), and a lower part including an opening (3). The planar slit (2) extends through the body (1) from the upper part thereof and opens into the opening (3). The valve comprises a gasket (5) inside the opening (3), said gasket having: a groove (6) aligned with the flat slit (2) in the upper part of the opening (3), and a section that includes a central core (7). The valve also comprises a pair of securing rings (8) positioned on both sides of the valve body (1), which rings have an inner section complementary to the section of the gasket (5).</p> |
