PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toll settlement processing system for implementing toll payment using an ETC card inserted into an in-vehicle unit including an ETC function in a commercial facility safely and at low cost, and a method thereof.SOLUTION: In the toll settlement processing system, encrypted card information of an ETC card is transmitted from an in-vehicle unit 10 including an ETC function to an exit-side road-side unit 200 installed in a parking lot. The encrypted information received from the in-vehicle unit 10 is transmitted to a communication control terminal 300 by the exit-side road-side unit 200 as it is. The communication control terminal 300 decrypts the encrypted information received from road-side units 100, 200 and transmits the card information included in the decrypted information to a settlement processing server 500. The settlement processing server 500 makes a settlement determination in a credit processing section which credits the card information. |
