PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device to evaluate sediment generated in a liquid system.SOLUTION: The method of the present invention includes a step to optically acquire information to realize a measurement of a height relevant to sediment, consequently, a measurement of volume data. The method of the invention is capable of treating a single sample of a liquid system. Moreover, the method is particularly suitable for speedily acquiring data on sediment by treating a plurality of the samples. The device of the invention has an automatic conveyor capable of moving the sample between workstations and to and from a related optical device used for acquiring information on the sediment. |
