PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for generating an HDR image where the deterioration of image quality due to a position deviation is suppressed without correcting the position deviation.SOLUTION: A host system 20 includes: a normalization unit 51 for generating multiple normalization images by correcting the brightness of multiple images that are obtained by making a sample S into images under different imaging conditions and are different in brightness on the basis of the imaging conditions; and an image synthesis unit 52 for generating a synthetic image by synthesizing the multiple normalization images. The image synthesis unit 52 defines a normalization image corresponding to a reference image being the brightest image among the multiple images as a reference normalization image, and synthesizes the reference normalization image with a non-reference normalization image being a normalization image other than the reference normalization image in order to allow the gradation of pixels in the synthetic image to be close to the gradation of pixels in the reference normalization image when the gradation of the pixels in the synthetic image comes to be smaller than the gradation of the pixels in the reference normalization image. |
