PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of preventing adhesion of barnacle, etc. to a crawl net or a bottom and a method of removing snow coverage on a roof.SOLUTION: A method of preventing adhesion of e.g. barnacle comprises kneading a polyethylene resin with e.g. calcium hypochlorite and processing the polyethylene resin into a fibrous form to make a crawl net for cultivation of e.g. yellow-tail. Adhesion of marine organisms to the bottom is prevented by mixing e.g. a urethane coating with a metal or carbon to impart electric conductivity, applying the coating to e.g. the bottom of an FRP ship and electrifying an electric current to electrolyze sea water to form e.g. calcium hypochlorite on the surface of the bottom. The surface of a pavement can be illuminated by applying the conductive coating to the surface of the pavement 39 as a line coating for roads, like 46 and 47 in the illustration, and electrifying a current to e.g. a sealed LED lighting fixture 43 to light. Snow coverage on a roof can be molten by using a roof material including the conductive resin and electrifying a current.
