<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an isolated floor-placement container for culturing a crop and the like, consisting of a porous body in which an expandable aggregate such as volcanic gravel is bonded by cement, having light weight and high strength, and not hindering raising of the plant without alkali elution.SOLUTION: In the present invention, it is configured that a container body 1 consists of a porous body, inside of which three-dimensionally reticulated communication vents 4 are formed by bonding an expandable aggregate 2 with cement 3 and that the surfaces of the container body 1 and the three-dimensional communication vents 4 are coated with inorganic binder containing an organosilane compound. The inorganic binder is obtained by mixing methyltriethoxysilane, nitrate, and water, and polyvinyl butyral and ethanol solvent can also be added to them.</p> |
