PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing apparatus which prevents reduction in temperature of a fixing belt.SOLUTION: A fixing apparatus 17 includes a fixing belt 173 for conveying a sheet, a cleaning roller 41 provided so as to be brought into contact with/separated from a peripheral surface of the fixing belt 173 in a separation/contact direction X, a pressure roller 61 which presses the cleaning roller 41, and a second biasing member 62 which biases the pressure roller 61 in a biasing direction Y crossing the separation/contact direction X. The cleaning roller 41 is supported rockably in the separation/contact direction X. The pressure roller 61 biases the cleaning roller 41 in a separation direction X1, while the cleaning roller 41 is separated from the fixing belt 173. |
