摘要 A spiral gasket includes: a gasket body having a body portion, an inner peripheral empty winding portion, and an outer peripheral empty winding portion. An inner ring having an outer peripheral surface on which an inner ring pawl portion engageable with the inner peripheral empty winding portion and an outer ring having an inner peripheral surface on which an outer ring pawl portion engageable with an outer peripheral surface of the outer peripheral empty winding portion are formed. The number of turns of the inner and outer peripheral empty winding portions are set to 5 to 10. Respective gaps are formed between the inner/outer peripheral surface of the inner/outer peripheral empty winding portion and a portion of the outer/inner peripheral surface of the inner/outer ring except for the inner/outer ring pawl portion.

A spiral gasket comprising: a gasket body including: a body portion which is formed in a spiral shape by overlapping a hoop member formed of a metal-made thin plate in a strip shape and a filler member formed of a soft material in a strip shape to each other; an inner peripheral empty winding portion which is formed on an inner periphery of the body portion and on which only the hoop member is wound; and an outer peripheral empty winding portion which is formed on an outer periphery of the body portion and on which only the hoop member is wound; an inner ring which is arranged radially inside the inner peripheral empty winding portion of the gasket body and having an outer peripheral surface on which an inner ring pawl portion engageable with an inner peripheral surface of the inner peripheral empty winding portion is formed; and an outer ring which is arranged radially outside the outer peripheral empty winding portion of the gasket body and having an inner peripheral surface on which an outer ring pawl portion engageable with an outer peripheral surface of the outer peripheral empty winding portion is formed, wherein the number of turns of the inner peripheral empty winding portion and the number of turns of the outer peripheral empty winding portion are set to 5 to 10, a predetermined first gap is formed between the inner peripheral surface of the inner peripheral empty winding portion and a portion of the outer peripheral surface of the inner ring except for the inner ring pawl portion, and a predetermined second gap is formed between the outer peripheral surface of the outer peripheral empty winding portion and a portion of the inner peripheral surface of the outer ring except for the outer ring pawl portion.
