Disclosed are a retractable handle assembly, and a valve and a mid-sized bulk container using the handle assembly. A handle (4) in the handle assembly is connected on a valve stem and is able to rotate around a central axis of rotation on the valve stem. When the valve needs to be opened, the handle (4) rotates around the central axis of rotation into a deployed state, in order to open and close the valve; and when the valve is welded to a liner bag of a mid-sized bulk container or mounted to a mid-sized bulk container, the handle (4) rotates around the central axis of rotation into a retracted state, in order to reduce the space occupied by the valve. Furthermore, an erroneous opening prevention boss (411) is also provided on the handle (4) and matches an erroneous opening prevention groove (8) on a valve cap. When the handle is in the retracted state, reduced space is occupied, thereby not affecting the liner bag of the mid-sized bulk container to which the valve is welded. After retraction, the handle is also not easily damaged. |
