<p>The present application describes a PTO (power take-off) for motor vehicles, wherein a mounting flange (3) to a gear box and a fastening flange (5) to a pump or transmission are integrated to form one piece. The PTO engages the gear box through its mounting flange (3), for example by bolts or screws (1) in a connection that is sealed via a sealing gasket (4). On the other hand, the PTO uses its fastening flange (5) to engage the pump or transmission (5), for example by bolts or screws (1) in a connection that is sealed via a sealing gasket. The PTO is preferably actuated by a fluid through a valve (8), it may be operated by mechanical, vacuum or electric controls and it may also incorporate a mechanical or electrical sensor to inform the operator of the state of the PTO. The PTO is applied in gearboxes of motor vehicles.</p> |
