PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve sound production of the musical tone of a mute tone having frequency characteristics whose high frequency components are little such as a mute performance method by changing frequency characteristics of a musical tone.SOLUTION: A CPU 41 obtains a string vibration signal when performing plucking string operation on a strained string, analyses frequency characteristics of obtained string vibration signal, determines whether the analyzed frequency characteristics meet a predetermined condition, and changes frequency characteristics of musical tone produced in a connected sound source 45 according to determination results. |
