PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recorder which prevents an ink etc. from intruding into gaps of a nozzle surface during capping.SOLUTION: An ink jet recorder 10 includes: an ink jet head 32X formed by connecting multiple head modules 32x; and a cap 100X which covers a nozzle surface 38X of the ink jet head 32. The cap 100X includes a gap closing member 106C which is placed in contact with the nozzle surface 38X and closes gaps 39X of the nozzle surface 38X. |
