摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for optimally dyeing a biological material for analysis.SOLUTION: In one embodiment, images of samples are recorded before and after contact of a dyeing reagent and a decoloring reagent. Next, a differential image is generated at least partially on the basis of comparison between the images of the samples recorded before and after the contact of the dyeing and decoloring reagents. Next, contact parameters of the dyeing and decoloring reagents are corrected at least partially on the basis of the differential image so as to optimally re-contact the reagents in order to generate such final images of the samples that a user is enabled to discriminate much better at least one target of interest in the samples. In one example, the embodiments enable generation of an image indicating only Gram-positive bacteria or Gram-negative bacteria.</p>
