<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an unnecessary radiation wave, prevent a negative ghost image, and prevent white gap according to an attribute of a non-image section.SOLUTION: A color image forming apparatus using electrophotography includes: means for generating an attribute signal which is an attribute of input image data to be printed and indicates a non-image section where a toner image is not formed or an image section where the toner image is formed; means which generates random data for generating micro light-emitting data at random; means which outputs the micro light-emitting data based on the random data according to the attribute signal; PWM modulation control means which generates a laser drive video signal by PWM-modulating the input image data when the attribute signal indicates the image section, or generates a laser drive video signal by PWM-modulating the micro light-emitting data when the attribute signal indicates the non-image section; and means which performs exposure by use of the generated laser drive video signal.</p> |
