PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide optical glass capable of satisfying all requirements such as: (1) being difficult to cause an environmental or safety-related problem; (2) being easy to achieve a lower glass transition point; (3) having high refractive index and being highly dispersible; and (4) being easy to achieve excellent transmissivity in a visible region or a near-ultraviolet region.SOLUTION: Optical glass includes BiOand/or TeOof 20% or more in mass %, and also includes FeOof 5-10000 ppm and SbOof 10-1000 ppm. |
