The saw (1) has a motor driving a circular saw blade (2) in a housing (3). A puller is connected with the housing. A whetstone is provided in a support part to adjust a side surface of the circular saw blade. A spring element i.e. helical compression spring, is provided in printing position and prestressed through an adjustable screw. A mounting part of the whetstone is arranged on the housing. A receiving plate is supported in the spring element. A protective hood (4) is fastened with the puller. A longitudinal groove is formed in a base plate (6).
