The coupling (10) has a coupling connecting piece (11) connected with another coupling connecting piece (12) by forming a latched plug connection. A retainer (19) i.e. circular groove, for a securing unit (16) e.g. snap ring, is provided at one of the connecting pieces. The securing unit produces the inseparable latched plug connection between the connecting pieces. The retainer is designed at a wrap part (18) of one of the connecting pieces (11). The securing unit is accommodated in the circular groove, and supported at a locking collar of the other connecting piece (12).
