The diaphragm pump (1) has an electromagnetic armature drive for two diaphragms (2) of the diaphragm pump, where the armature drive comprises an electromagnet (3) and an armature (9) cooperating with the electromagnet. The armature is displaced is vibration by alternating magnetic fields of the electromagnet. The armature has a lever-like base body with two lever arm sections extending transverse to a rotational axis. The base body is mounted in vibration capable manner about the rotational axis. The lever arm sections are arranged on both sides of the rotational axis. Each lever arm section is kinematically coupled with a diaphragm on a thrust side of the anchor.
