Disclosed are a face recognition method and a system thereof. The face recognition method of the present invention is a method for recognizing a face of a device which processes facial images. The face recognition method includes a step of receiving consecutive data of a facial image to be recognized; a step of performing pixel-level optimum matching between the received consecutive data and consecutive data of a pre-registered facial image using two-dimensional dynamic warping (2DDW) algorithm; and a step of recognizing a face by measuring similarity among pixels acquired through the optimum matching. |
