PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a display delay time from the generation of a display image signal to the output of the signal to a display unit while processing an input image signal.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an imaging sensor 100; and multiple signal processing units for processing image signals to be output. The image signals processed for each frame period by the respective signal processing units are stored in DRAMs. The image signals processed by first to third signal processing units are stored in a third DRAM 107. An external output unit 110 reads the image signals and outputs the signals to the outside of the imaging apparatus. A second resize processing unit 111 performs image size change processing to change an image size into the size for displaying with respect to the image signal to be output by the first signal processing unit 102. The image signals processed by a fourth signal processing unit 113 and a fifth signal processing unit 115 are temporarily stored in a seventh DRAM 116 and read by a panel signal processing unit 117 so as to be processed into display image signals. The third signal processing unit 106 and the fifth signal processing unit 115 performs time division processing.
