PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant for belt-like dry wire drawing capable of being used under severe processing conditions of wire drawing such as high temperature, high pressure, high speed and the like same as conventional powder-like or granular lubricants for dry wire drawing, corresponding to diameter reduction to a wide range of wire diameter from small diameter to large diameter and a wide range of wire speed from low speed to high speed, not being limited by processed shapes, excellent in functionality such as lubricity, followability, spreadability, adhesive property, heat resistance, processability, workability, safety, durability and productivity, especially suitable for a drawing process using a cassette roller die, being innovative with consideration of improvement of working environment and environment protection without generating dust.SOLUTION: A lubricant for belt-like dry wire drawing has a film containing 10 to 90 pts.wt. of metal salt of saturated aliphatic acid and/or carboxylic acid-based amide wax, 10 to 50 pts.wt. of an additive agent containing an inorganic product and/or a heat resistant resin and 10 to 90 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin. |
