PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna switching reception system capable of precisely selecting an antenna having high signal quality to thereby reduce influence of level fluctuation due to a multipath fading requiring no heavy load processing with a simple and inexpensive structure.SOLUTION: When a unique-word detecting section detects any unique-word UW1 from plural unique-words UW1 constituted of an identical bit string, an RF section detects the reception level of a radio signal. After an antenna control section switches the antenna, the RF section also detects the reception level of the radio signal received by the switched antenna. When the difference in the reception level detected on each antenna exceeds a predetermined threshold value, the antenna control section selects an antenna having a high reception level to receive a following payload. When the difference in the reception level is smaller than the threshold value, the antenna control section performs a statistical processing on a piece of information relevant to the antenna selection to select the antenna. |
