PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight and cost of a drain pipe joint, to prevent deterioration of drainage performance in comparison with a cast iron drain pipe joint, and to block entering of smoke and flame into an upper floor at the occurrence of fire.SOLUTION: A drain pipe joint 20 includes: a thermoplastic resin upper body part 30 which is arranged on a floor slab C and is provided with a receiving port 32 connected with a drain pipe of an upper floor; a thermoplastic resin lower body part 40 which comprises an upper end connection part 41 connected to a lower end part of the upper body part 30 in a part embedded in the floor slab C, a lower end connection part 45 projecting downward from the ceiling surface of the floor slab C and connected with a drain pipe of a lower floor, and a tapered part 43 forming a flow passage narrowing downward between the upper end connection part 41 and the lower end connection part 45; and a thermoplastic resin interior member 50 which is fitted in the lower body part 40 and is provided with vanes 54, 56 introducing flowing-down drain water and melted by heat of fire to close the tapered part 43. |
