<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal printer enabling a user to easily replace a thermal head unit.SOLUTION: A thermal printer includes: a sheet transport path formed in a range from a sheet supply unit that supply a sheet to a sheet ejection port from which the sheet is ejected; a sheet transport mechanism transporting the sheet to the sheet ejection port; a printing head provided on a sheet printing surface side; a platen roller arranged to be opposite to the printing head across the sheet transport path; a printing head base fitted into the printing head, and including a first moving prevention wall preventing the printing head from moving in a sheet transport direction and a second moving prevention wall preventing the printing head from moving in a direction of contacting the platen roller and a direction away from the platen roller; a holder of an elastic member holding a fitted state in which the printing head base is fitted into the printing head; and a head separation auxiliary member interposed between the printing head and the printing head base.</p> |
