PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate measuring method by which a measurement distance or a measurement range is enlarged and a narrow part can also be measured and further, which is suitable for an extreme work environment such as an underwater environment or a high radiation environment.SOLUTION: A measurement point P desired to measure coordinates is irradiated with a first laser light beam from an emission point A of a first laser 1 and irradiated with a second laser light beam from an emission point B of a second laser 2. The sight is fixed by changing an irradiation direction Nof the first laser light beam and an irradiation direction Nof the second laser light beam in such a manner that spots of two laser light beams irradiating the measurement point are overlapped on the measurement point P. A line connecting the emission point A of the first laser 1 and the emission point B of the second laser 2 is defined as a reference line M. A first angleθformed by the reference line M and the irradiation direction Nof the first laser light beam and a second angleθformed by the reference line M and the irradiation direction Nof the second laser light beam are detected. On the basis of coordinates of the emission point A, coordinates of the emission point B, the first angleθand the second angleθ, the coordinates of the measurement point P are calculated. |
