PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator performing cooling operation with one evaporator, capable of preventing inflow of high-temperature air into a refrigerating space, and excellent in energy saving performance.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes: a compressor 51; a condenser 52; a throttle device 53 connected to an outlet of the condenser 52, and having a variable channel resistance; and an evaporator 56, and executes a cooling mode switchable between a cold-storage cooling mode for supplying air cooled by the evaporator 56 into a cold-storage space and a freezer cooling mode for supplying the air cooled by the evaporator 56 into a freezing space. After end of the cold-storage cooling mode, the refrigerator executes a transition mode for stopping supply of the air cooled by the evaporator 56 into the freezing space while driving the compressor 51, and for setting a channel resistance of the throttle device 53 to be lower than that in the cold-storage cooling mode, and then executes the freezer cooling mode. |
