The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a metal foil in which a stacked metal foil is easily and reliably resistance-welded, and sufficient resistance-welded nugget (alloy layer) surface area can be ensured; as well as a method for manufacturing a sealed cell including said method; and a sealed cell. This method for manufacturing a stacked metal foil (1) comprises: a first step of using a cutter (C) having a substantially V-shaped longitudinal cross-section to cut a notch (3) that runs along and penetrates the stacking direction (S) and that is linear in plan view in a welded location (A) of stacked metal foil layers (2), and bonding the metal foil (2) layers together in the stacking direction (S) at a linear notch end (3a); and a second step of pressing an electrode (E) for resistance-welding against the welded location (A) and conducting current to the welded location (A) via the electrode (E) to resistance-weld the stacked metal foil (1). |
