In addition to preventing damage of the sliding surfaces by an impurity contained in a fluid, which has entered a dynamic pressure-generating groove formed on the sliding surfaces, by a design for circulation of the fluid, the present invention keeps the sliding surfaces of a pair of sliding rings from being spread apart by the accumulation of impurities. A pair of sliding parts provided with a mechanism for generating dynamic pressure by the relative sliding of the sliding surfaces of the sliding parts is characterized in that: one sliding surface is provided with dynamic pressure-generating lands (10) facing the high pressure fluid side and a sealing surface (11) facing the lower pressure fluid side; the lands (10) and the sealing surface (11) are disposed separated from each other in the radial direction; and the portions of the sliding surface other than the lands (10) and the sealing surface (11) are configured as a fluid communication path (12) by being formed to be lower than said surfaces. |
