PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel illumination system capable of solving a cost problem.SOLUTION: A tunnel illumination system comprises: a plurality of illuminating fixtures (illumination blocks 1 each having a main illuminating fixture 10, sub illuminating fixtures 20 and 30, and a control device 40) arranged by an opposite arrangement system in a tunnel T having upper and lower lines; and a power distribution board 2 controlling the main illuminating fixtures 10 and the like for each illumination block 1. The tunnel illumination system has such a configuration that control information, measurement information, or management information required for controlling or managing a tunnel illumination is transmitted to each main illuminating fixture 10 and the like sequentially from a pit mouth h1 to a pit mouth h2 of the tunnel T by using a visible light communication function of the main illuminating fixtures 10. In addition, measurement data measured by the main illuminating fixtures 10 is transmitted to each main illuminating fixture 10 and the like sequentially from the pit mouth h1 to the pit mouth h2 of the tunnel T, and finally transmitted to the control device located at the pit mouth h2. |
