PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress coarsening of a crystal grain on a surface of a casting, in a mold for precisely casting a titanium aluminide alloy or a titanium alloy.SOLUTION: A mold 10 for precisely casting a titanium aluminide alloy or a titanium alloy includes a mold body 14 with a cavity 12 into which molten metal is poured. The mold body 14, which is provided on the side of the cavity 12, has a crystal grain refining layer 16 that includes a refractory material, and titanium oxide for refining grains. |
