摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic stringed instrument which controls a sound source with excellent sensitivity at a proper pitch.SOLUTION: In an electronic stringed instrument 1, a sound generation recognition unit 54 detects a vibration level of a string immediately after a pickup 18 detects the string struck. When the pickup 18 detects the string struck, a musical sound control signal generation unit 58 issues an instruction to a connected sound source system 19 to generate musical sound at a pitch, which is decided on the basis of a detected struck string and a fret in contact with the string by a fret switch group 17, and a volume decided based on the level detected by the sound generation recognition unit 54. A pitch extraction unit 56 extracts a vibration pitch of the struck string detected by the pickup 18. The musical sound control signal generation unit 58 corrects the pitch of the musical sound generated by the connected sound source system 19 on the basis of the vibration pitch extracted by the pitch extraction unit 56.
