<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve performance of a vertical mill while suppressing product cost increase.SOLUTION: A vertical mill includes: a pulverization table 15 supported in a housing 11 so as to be rotatably driven; a pulverization roller 16 arranged above the pulverization table 15, and rotatably supported by a first support shaft 17; a support arm 18 supporting the first support shaft 17 rockably supported by a second support shaft 19 so that the pulverization roller 16 can be closer to or separate from the pulverization table 15; and a reaction force load application device 20 applying a reaction force load, against a direction in which the pulverization roller 16 is separate from the pulverization table 15, to the support arm 18. The reaction force load application device 20 includes a first pressing shaft 41 and a second pressing shaft 51 arranged in series at a predetermined gap S kept therebetween, and a first spring 45 and a second spring 55 urging the first pressing shaft 41 and the second pressing shaft 51.</p> |
