A method for assembling a floating wind-power generation device (1) provided with at least the following: a floating body (20) that has one or more columns (22) and is designed so as to float on water; and a tower (6) that is provided vertically on top of the one or more columns (22). Said method includes a tower provision step in which the tower (6) is joined to the column(s) (22) via welding so as to provide the tower (6) vertically on top of the column(s) (22). In said tower provision step, the tower (6) is joined to the column(s) (22) as follows: the base end of the tower (6) is embedded into the column(s) (22), and the outer surface and/or inner surface of the embedded section (28) of the tower (6) is welded to the column(s) (22) over a prescribed length in the direction of the axis of the tower (6).
