PURPOSE: A roll shape measurement method and device for a rear plate roller corrector are provided to quantitatively extract data by measuring the shaped of a roller corrector such as abrasion and eccentricity and to improve the correction efficiency of the roller corrector. CONSTITUTION: A roll shape measurement device for a rear plate roller corrector comprises a horizontal plate(10), a sensing part(20), a driver, and a data processing part(40). The horizontal plate is mounted with the sensing part to be movable in the barrel direction of a roll or the vertical direction thereof. The sensing part measures the distance with the roll. The driver transmits power to the sensing part to move on the horizontal plate. The data processing part receives data measured in the sensing part, calculates the average value of roll radius to make into a graph in order to compare the average value with the actual measurement value of roll radius, and provides the graph to a worker. |
