PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel bearing device with a rotation speed detecting device, improved in reliability by preventing generation of small cracking due to hoop stress, by suppressing an expansion amount associated with press-fitting of a pulser ring.SOLUTION: In a wheel bearing device with a rotation speed detecting device including a rotation speed sensor 16 mounted between outer rolling surfaces 5a of double rows, of an outer member 5, a pulser ring 21 made of sintered alloy, opposed to the rotation speed sensor 16 through a prescribed radial clearance and having a detected portion composed of an uneven portion 21a, is externally fitted to a small diameter-side end portion of an outer-side inner ring 5, the pulser ring 21 includes a fitting portion 21b externally fitted to the inner ring 5, and a stepped portion 21c axially extended from an end portion of the fitting portion 21b over an inner ring 7 at the other side, a step portion 24 is formed on an inner diameter just below the fitting portion of the externally-fitted inner ring 5, and a width of the step portion 24 is set to be larger than a fitting width of the inner ring 5 and the pulser ring 21. |
