PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that when the temperature of a reforming catalyst increases, steam reforming reaction proceeds in the reforming catalyst to lower the methane concentration in the reformed gas from a reformer, and thereby the amount of methane decreases in the fuel off gas being combusted in a burner and the flame cannon be detected by frame rod of the burner, thus causing erroneous detection of misfiring although the gas is combusted in the burner.SOLUTION: When the temperature of a reforming catalyst 11, i.e., the temperature of a first temperature detector 5, goes above a preset first temperature, or when the temperature difference between the first temperature detector 5 and the control target temperature thereof goes above a second temperature, hydrocarbon flow rate in the fuel off gas is increased in a fuel cell system. |
