PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive wiring box which improves the sound insulation properties of an installation location and enables easy installation work.SOLUTION: A wiring box 10 is composed of: a box cover 21 made of a sound insulation material, which does not have fire protection capability, and formed into a box shape with a closed bottom, which has an opening 20a on one surface; and a box 11 which is installed on the rear of a lightweight partition wall, includes a bottom wall 12 and a peripheral wall 13 erected on a periphery of the bottom wall 12, and has a box opening S formed by being enclosed by the peripheral wall 13. A fixing part 31, fixed to a construction material P, and a housing part 24, formed in a size that houses the box 11 from the opening, are formed in the box cover 21. The box cover 21 covers an entire external surface of the box while opening the box opening to be integrated with the box. |
