PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device capable of easily achieving scale-out and transferring data at high speed.SOLUTION: A storage device includes: a processing unit that issues control instructions for reading out and writing data; and a plurality of storage units which are connected with one another as at least two-or-more-dimensional arrays. The processing unit includes: a processor; and a network communication unit that communicates with an external network that is connected to the processor through a bus. Each of the storage units includes: a processor input/output unit that is connected with the processing unit through the bus; a storage unit input/output unit that is connected with adjacent another one of the storage units; a memory capable of storing data; and a routing unit that determines a transfer path of the data to the other storage unit and performs transfer processing, on the basis of location information of the storage units that is included in the data. |
